FIRC is sad to say goodbye to our friend and Vice President of our Board of Directors, Mary Zink Caamano. Mary's care and passion to helping others in Summit County who were facing hard times was inspirational to all who met her. Her dedication to improving Summit Thrift & Treasure, FIRC's nonprofit thrift store which funds 40% of FIRC programs resulted in a remodel and a second store coming in the summer. The staff and board at FIRC are grateful for all Mary was able to give during her time with us and we will continue to work towards Mary's vision of helping families get back on their feet and succeeding as parents and community members.
