Parenting Education and Early Childhood Development

Through home visits, parenting classes, parenting groups and activities, the Family and Intercultural Resource Center’s Families United program works to achieve the following:

  • Strengthen the bond between parents and children
  • Give parents the tools to be the best teacher to their children
  • Give children the best start to life possible
  • Education of positive parenting skills and child development
  • Advocate for school readiness

By working with families who live and work in Summit County, FIRC offers parenting classes, home visits and parenting groups to help parents give their children the best start to life possible.
