New FIRC Fundraiser: FIRC Bags
FIRC bags are made from recycled materials that could not be sold at Summit Thrift and Treasure. The bags start at $5 and are sold around the community with 100% of proceeds going back into FIRC programs. The project has raised over $1,000 for the programs of FIRC.Kay Bullington and Becky Morgan created the idea as a fundraiser for FIRC and thanks to many volunteers the bag ideas keep growing from wine bags made of jeans to shopping bags made of shower curtains. All are truly unique and made with care.
Wine bags are currently for sale at D’Vine Wines in Silverthorne and Breckenridge. Other bag types available. The FIRC bags can be purchased at the Dillon Farmer’s Market from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Fridays during the summer at their store in La Riva del Largo Shoppes. For more information on purchasing, selling or volunteering with this program, please contact anitao@summitfirc.org or call 970-262-3888 x 306.
