Levels of Giving

Everyday families in Summit County find themselves in difficult situations and may require assistance to get through tough times. By giving a gift today, you can help ensure a family makes it through the winter with a roof over their head and clothes on their back.
Want to know how your gift will help? Here is an example of what your donation to FIRC can fund:
Change lives by providing a family with a year of home visits
Keep the heat on for 4 families
Prevent a family from becoming homeless
Provide healthcare for an uninsured person
Prevent child abuse and provide one family with their monthly home visit
Provide needed resources to a new mother with a Home Visit
Provide childcare for parents attending a support group
Provide dinner for a family
Give a winter coat, hat & gloves to a child
Gifts made represent a gift to the entire mission of FIRC. To help the most number of families move toward self-reliance, FIRC does not use its limited resources to track gifts from donation to distribution. We use your gifts where they can do the most good by pooling them with the gifts of others to help transform the entire community. And, because you are helping FIRC fight hunger and poverty and helping families, your gift is tax deductible.
