Strong Families. Strong Community.

Summit County, Colorado, is a unique place to live with beautiful surroundings featuring world-class ski and golf resorts and a year-round community of about 30,000 residents. Yet, hidden beneath the beauty are many residents and families who struggle with low wages and long hours
The Family & Intercultural Resource Center serves the Summit County community by providing family services such as early childhood development and parent education along with emergency financial assistance for rent and utilities and a food bank for those facing tough times. FIRC’s overall goal is to empower the families and individuals of our community to become more stable and self-sufficient today and in the future.
The need for assistance becomes more important everyday as more families find themselves in difficult situations in tough economic times. FIRC works to help alleviate families in stressful situations and create an impact that will have long lasting effects to build a stronger community.
