Skills: Enjoy working with families
Training: Our Parent Educators will provide training and accompany to home visits until you feel comfortable to be on your own.
Mileage: Transportation is needed and mileage is reimbursed.
Benefit to FIRC: Bright Beginnings has a large demand. More volunteers equals more families served.
Background Check: yes
Store Assistance at Summit Thrift & Treasure Thrift Store
Time commitment: 4 hours a month but will happily increase if you have time
Tasks: Sorting, pricing and organizing donations
Benefit to FIRC: Revenue from the Summit Thrift & Treasure is a major contributor of financing FIRC programs. Donations keep the store in business and we greatly need help organizing the donations so they can be sold.
Packet Assembly and Copying
Time commitment: 1-3 hours a week
