Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with FIRC. The following is a list of ways you can assist our program. Click here for our most URGENT VOLUNTEER NEEDS.
Summit Thrift & Treasure

Volunteers can assist with accepting and sorting through donations, store organization, eBay sales, or recycling among other functions.
Office Support
Volunteers can assist with volunteer coordination, data entry, inventory of educational materials among other administrative duties.
Direct Client Support
Volunteers can assist in the Food Bank, offer Bright Beginning visits to new parents, place calls to clients to evaluate services, assist with activities or provide childcare during events among other responsibilities.
Outreach Support
Volunteers can distribute brochures and flyers promoting FIRC and its programs, assist with the organization and implementation of FIRC events, or join one of the various fundraising and board committees among other opportunities.
Childcare
Volunteers can offer childcare services during family activities, parenting classes, life skills classes and support groups.
Professional Support
Volunteers can share their expertise by being a guest speaker at a family support group, or by joining one of our various action committees.
Arts & Crafts
Volunteers can sew or knit blankets for Bright Beginnings visits, hats and gloves for children in need, or assist with crafts and activities during family events.
