**UPDATE: The 11,000 OmniSalud Silver Enhanced Savings slots are full, confirmed as of 3:00 pm Tuesday November 2, 2023. We can still help you find the cheapest available plan on the Colorado Connect platform, so please still visit us so we can review your options with you. 

FIRC’s Health Navigators are here to assist during Open Enrollment! We will host a series of Walk-in Events at our Silverthorne and Breckenridge locations on the following dates and times:

251 W. 4th Street in Silverthorne Walk-in Days:

Every Monday and Tuesday from 9am-1pm 
(Starting Nov 6th, ending Jan 15th)

1745 Airport Road in Breckenridge Walk-in Days:

Thursdays Nov 16th, Dec 14th, and Jan 11th from 9am-1pm

Volunteers keep our food markets open, our community fed and big projects and events running.

Please check back frequently as shifts pop up due to cancellations or as new opportunities arise.

Can you help me find a place to live?

No, we aren’t able to help you find a place to live. Click here for resources for renters.

I can’t pay my rent or utility bill? What can I do?

You can call our front desk to make an appointment with a Casework for utility assistance 970-262-3888 or fill out an online application here.

How do I make donations to the Food Markets?

Please drop off non-perishable food donations at the Breckenridge Food Market (1745 Airport Road),  Silverthorne (251 W. 4th Street), of Dillon Food Market (340 Fiedler Ave). If staff is not on-site, there are large, brown bins for drop-offs. We appreciate your cooperation. 

How do I make a financial donation to FIRC?

There are several ways to make financial donations. Visit our Donate page for more information.

How do I make an appointment for health insurance enrollment help?

Use our online form (use zip code 80498) here or call 970-262-3888.

How do I check on my pending Community Emergency Rental assistance (CERA) application?

FIRC will contact all applicants via email or phone before the last week of the month regarding the status of your request. If you have more in depth questions, please call our front desk at 970-262-3888. For all DOLA applications, please contact DOLA directly and have your case number ready. Our front desk will not be able to assist with any DOLA information at this time.

Is the Thrift Store closed and are you accepting donations?

FIRC Thrift & Treasure is temporarily closed until we open our new building, the Sol Center, set to be completed in late 2025.

FIRC does accept winter coats, boots, hats, & gloves – that are in good condition – at our Silverthorne Office location only. 

Great organizations in Summit County may benefit from offerings that are in good shape, like Resaddled Thrift Store (please call 970-409-2565 before donating, and please note that they check items before accepting)Summit County Habitat for Humanity Restore, and For Pet’s Sake in Breckenridge. Keep in mind that many items may be repurposed, recycled, or need to go to SCRAP – Visit High Country Conservation Center for more information.
