In response to emergency messages from the county manager’s office on December 28th & based on recent public health alerts, we are closing our offices until further notice to help keep everyone safe. This includes no in-person office appointments – all appointments will be scheduled virtually.

The Dillon and Breckenridge Food Markets will be open.

Volunteer Program

Volunteers keep our food markets open, our community fed and big projects and events running.

We’ve introduced a new tool to make signing up easier and more user-friendly. We greatly appreciate your support and understanding during these challenging COVID times. Please check back frequently as shifts pop up due to cancellations or as new opportunities arise.

How do I check on my pending FIRC Family Support rental assistance application?

Please contact your FIRC Family Support Coordinator directly via email or phone, or if you don’t know who your FIRC Coordinator is, please call our front desk at 970-262-3888. For all DOLA applications, please contact DOLA directly and have your case number ready. Our front desk will not be able to assist with any DOLA information at this time.

How do I make donations to the food pantry?

Please drop off non-perishable food donations at the Breckenridge Food Market (1745 Airport Road),  Silverthorne (251 W. 4th Street), of Dillon Food Market (340 Fielder Ave). If staff is not on-site, there are large, brown bins for drop-offs. We appreciate your cooperation. 

How do I make donations to the Thrift Store?

TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Currently we are unable to accept donations. We will announce an opening date as soon as we can.  For more information click here

I can’t pay my rent or utility bill? What can I do?

You can call our front desk to make an appointment with a Family Support Coordinator 970-262-3888 or fill out an online application here.

How do I make a financial donation to FIRC?

Can you help me find a place to live?

No, we aren’t able to help you find a place to live. Click here for resources for renters.

How do I make an appointment for health insurance enrollment help?
