Special Programs for Residents of Summit County

FIRC is working closely with community partners to provide families and individuals with the support needed to remain healthy during these uncertain times. We hope you find the following resources helpful. We will continue to update this page as things change during the COVID-19 response. Our staff is taking phone appointments for those needing help with any of the support services we offer.

How do I check on my rental assistance application?

You may email FIRC rental assistance team at fircrentalassistance@summitfirc.org.

How do I make donations to the food pantry?

Please drop off donations outside at the Breckenridge Food Pantry (1745 Airport Road) on Mondays & Wednesdays from 10:00 am – 1:30 pm or on Tuesday & Thursdays from 10:00 am – 1:30 pm outside in Silverthorne (251 W. 4th Street). Food donations can only be accepted at these locations on the dates/times listed on our Food & Thrift page due to limited staff. We appreciate your cooperation. 

How do I make donations to the Thrift Store?

TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Currently we are unable to accept donations. We will announce an opening date as soon as we can.  For more information click here

I can’t pay my rent or utility bill? What can I do?

You can call our front desk to make an appointment with a Family Support Coordinator 970-262-3888 or fill out an online application here.

How do I make a financial donation to FIRC?

There are several ways to make financial donations. Visit our Donate page for more information.

Can you help me find a place to live?

No, we can’t help you find a place to live, but you can use the following Renters Resource List to locate help.
