Free Community Food Markets in Summit County, Colorado
The high cost of living makes Summit County a difficult place to live and raise a family. Our Community Food Markets provide options for fresh, healthy, and nutritious food; while also helping families stretch their budgets, save, and connect. We encourage all residents to visit our Community Food Markets once a week to receive up to $200 worth of groceries – and put those hundreds of dollars in food savings each month towards rent or other expenses. In addition, we help with referrals to WIC & SNAP applications for more food resources!

No-cost Groceries, Zero Barriers, and Fresh Food!                                                                 FIRC addresses issues around food insecurity, food equity, food waste and resource sharing, along with broad scale food systems change in Summit County. Our Community Food Markets provide access to no-cost groceries, household and hygiene items, and diapers and wipes. Through FIRC’s Food Equity Coalition, we reimagined our food distribution sites to be a welcoming place for the community. Shoppers do not need any identification, paperwork, or income information to access their choice of fresh food products including produce, dairy, meat, and grains – as well as shelf-stable pantry items and other products. We are community informed, and community designed. We are based in food cultural justice, which drives important systems change! Come shop with us!
