You can make a difference. The Housing Works Initiative helps owners use their properties as long-term rentals to benefit the community’s workforce.  By adding your home to the Housing Works Initiative you are helping working families realize their dreams of living in the mountains.

In order to qualify for the Housing Works program, you must be switching a property from a short-term rental into a long-term lease. This program is designed to support owners who are adding to the long-term rental inventory for the local workforce.

The Family & Intercultural Resource Center verifies tenants through background checks and interviews. Tenants agree to a one-year lease and must be employed year-round in Summit County.
