Thrift & Treasure is moving!

Dillon Thrift and Treasure is temporarily closed and is moving to Breckenridge. Opening date to be determined.

The pandemic shifted the needs in our community. During the height of COVID, FIRC converted a large portion of our Silverthorne office into our food market. There continues to be an increased need for food resources in our community and FIRC would like to reopen our Silverthorne office for staff. In order to open our office and continue to provide food, we shifted our operations, including our Silverthorne food market (now the Dillon Community Food Market) and Dillon thrift store.

We moved our Silverthorne food operations to our Dillon thrift store location and will move the Dillon thrift store to our Breckenridge location at 1745 Airport Road – opening date to be determined. The newly named, “Community Food Market” in Dillon opened Sept. 7. An opening day for Thrift & Treasure is to be determined. We will continue to accept non-perishable food donations, but during the transition we are temporarily not accepting other donations. Please see alternative donation locations at the bottom of the page.

FIRC will ensure that our community has access to healthy food and looks forward to serving our clients in person again. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Food Market utilization

There are other great organizations in the county who may benefit from donations that are in good shape like: Resaddled Thrift Store (please note, call 970-409-2565 before dropping off donations – they need to approve your donations first)Summit County Habitat for Humanity RestoreFor Pet’s Sake in Breckenridge. Please keep in mind many items may be repurposed, recycled or may need to go to SCRAP – Visit High Country Conservation Center for more information. This is only a brief list of donation locations in our area and is subject to change.
